Anonymous writes "Seattle Chapter #17, International Footprint Association will hold its annual Crab & Pasta Feed and Auction on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 6 p.m. at the SPAA Range, 11030 E Marginal Way S, Seattle. The dinner includes crab, spaghetti, cole slaw and dessert, as well as beer, wine and pop. Proceeds of the auctions and raffle support the activities of the organization and its beneficiaries, including WA State COPS and WSLEM. Police Officer Jackson (Jack) V. Lone Seattle Police Department Harbor Patrol End of Watch: Wednesday, March 16, 2005 Date of Incident: Wednesday, March 16, 2005 Age: 39 Years Tour of Duty: 18 Years Cause: Drowned Officer Jack Lone drowned when he fell into the Lake Washington Ship Canal while trying to secure a tugboat that had gone adrift in high winds. Officer Lone's partner realized that he had fallen into the water and immediately suited up and dove in. He located Officer Lone in approximately 6-feet of water and brought to the surface. CPR was performed until rescue units arrived and transported him to Harborview Medical Center. He was pronounced dead a short time later. Officer Lone had served with the Seattle Police Department for 18 years and had been assigned to the Harbor Patrol Unit for 5 years. He is survived by his wife and 18-month-old son. |

Marginal way S, Seattle. The event will be Saturday, February 5 at 6 p.m. Dinner is still only $20 per person and includes crab, pasta and drinks. There will be a special auction as well as a live auction. A raffle is being held, with tickets selling for $5 each. Prizes include a trip to Vancouver via Amtrak, 2 nights at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, 2 Nights at the Peppermill Hotel and Casino in Reno and other prizes. A special raffle will be held for those attending the event, with many prizes to be awarded. One beneficiary of the proceeds is WA State COPS.
